Correction: The recipient of the 2009 Synod Assembly offering on the agenda has been corrected and is designated to the Northern Illinois Synod Youth Staff position, and the other one-half will be divided between our companion synods, The Diocese in the Arusha Region, Tanzania; and the Arcot Lutheran Church, India. This action was approved at the January 24, 2009, Synod Council Meeting. Last year’s offering recipient was for the full-time Campus Pastor position at Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) at NIU.
