2009 Synod Assembly Agenda

Correction: The recipient of the 2009 Synod Assembly offering on the agenda has been corrected and is designated to the Northern Illinois Synod Youth Staff position, and the other one-half will be divided between our companion synods, The Diocese in the Arusha Region, Tanzania; and the Arcot Lutheran Church, India. This action was approved at the January 24, 2009, Synod Council Meeting. Last year’s offering recipient was for the full-time Campus Pastor position at Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM) at NIU.

A Prayer Chapel will be available throughout the Synod Assembly in College Center (Hammarskjöld Room).

Refreshments during the Synod Assembly are sponsored by Thrivent for Lutherans.

Photos of Rostered Leaders, Synod Council Members, and Synod Staff will be taken in Bergendoff Hall (Room 163) Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
