Beth Lewis, President & CEO for Augsburg Fortress, the ministry of publishing for the ELCA, will provide practical advice for developing & implementing a missional vision for your congregation's future.  She will focus on how congregations of all sizes can create an action-oriented congregational strategic plan that fits their particular context. 

The Northern Illinois Synod’s Congregational Resourcing Event is one of this synod’s finest yearly events. Church council members, teachers, musicians, staff, volunteers, and leaders--just about everyone in a congregation--can take advantage of this learning event to strengthen skills, gather resources, network with others, and discover new ways to enhance congregational and individual ministries. Come, experience and bring home new ministry tools.

Workshops will be presented by Beth Lewis, Bishop Wollersheim, ELCA Churchwide staff, assistants to the Bishop, Synod agencies & institutions, as well as Synod committees, pastors, and other leaders.

Displays will include Augsburg Fortress, Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center, NI Synod Christian Educators, Bread for the World, Equal Exchange Coffee, Mwangaza, and others.

Kishwaukee College is handicap accessible.

Supervised child care in Kishwaukee College’s on-campus Early Childhood Center is provided with pre-registration. A free-will offering will be accepted to cover child-care costs.
