HOPE is a four-letter word
Despite its small size, hope is a huge reward for your efforts when you participate in the ELCA World Hunger Appeal. Read stories of hope from recipients of your gifts around the world and use a new resource, "Hunger and Hope: Dramas about Poverty, Hunger and Mission," eleven dramas for the congregation written by the Rev. Carl H. Billings, Jr. and suitable for performing during a worship service or other event.
What to get your favorite Lutheran?

Lutheran Campus Ministry of Illinois invites you to look over the attached brochure
that describes the campus ministry they oversee, including the five Illinois campuses where there are full or part time campus pastors. Your prayers and support are coveted, especially as we enter 2007, the centennial year for Lutheran campus ministry in the United States. One of the most helpful ways you can support campus ministry is by sending the names of your members who are college students. Please send the names, college attending, and e-mail addresses (if possible) of your college and university students to Rev. Lloyd Kittlaus, University Lutheran Church, 2204 Orrington Avenue, Evanston IL 60201, e-mail: l-kittlaus@northwestern.edu; and he will be sure the information is forwarded to the appropriate campus ministry center. You may also visit the ELCA’s campus ministry web site (www.elca.org/campusministry) for information, resources, and another way to refer student names to campus ministry sites.
