The annual Oregon Autumn on Parade weekend is also scheduled at that time.
Watch the LOMC website www.lomc.org for more information on these upcoming retreats:

Little Lutherans love it! "The Little Lutheran" provides 10 issues a year of stories, prayers, activities, songs and art just for children under the age of six. The latest venture from The Lutheran magazine, the first issue contains creative ideas about conversing with toddlers, "can you find" puzzles, a craft idea based on the Good Samaritan story, and even an opportunity to enter a contest to get your photo in the next issue. Subscribe today, so you don't miss any more issues!
Expanding minds, deepening faith, inspiring service. According to Pastor Howard Gold, "on July 5, 1907, the first Lutheran pastorate at a state university was begun ..." which means Lutheran campus ministry is now 100 years old! This important part of the work we do together as a church invites people in academic settings into Jesus Christ and the community that bears his name, and has been and continues to be the place where many leaders in church and community are formed and nurtured. Celebrate with ministries throughout the country
P.A. Peterson Center for Health will be offering a Barnabas training class for caregivers in July. This program teaches simple, effective ways to care for people. Recognizing and healing grief will also be studied. The public is welcome to attend. There is no charge for the class. A free will offering would graciously be accepted. The dates are Sunday, July 22, 2007 and Sunday, July 29, 2007 from 2:30 – 5:30 here at P.A. Peterson Center for Health, 1311 Parkview Ave, Rockford, 61107.
