Youth in Mission ministry at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, invites both youth ministry workers and clergy to its first annual YIM Conference for Youth Ministry Workers April 20-22, 2009. The topic, "Pastoral Care for Youth," was identifiedby a survey of youth ministry workers as a topic which they thought needed more coverage in the youth ministry field.The Keynote Speaker/Preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Robert Dykstra, professor of pastoral care at Princeton Theological Seminary and author of several books including Counseling Troubled Youth. Part-time position opening for Sanctuary Choir Director, Gloria Dei, Rockford. Responsibilities: select choral anthems, once a week rehearsal with sanctuary choir, work in partnership with organist and pastor. We are a liturgical church using the rich resources of the ELW. We have one service each Sunday. Additional compensation for extra services during Lent and Easter. Nine month position - summers off!
