David Renneke, a retired physics professor at Augustana College, Rock Island, now serves as a Webmaster for the Jenny Lind Chapel in Andover, known as a "Landmark of Pioneer Faith." He hopes the http://jennylindchapel.org Web site will attract even more visitors to the historic chapel. The chapel was the first church building of the former Augustana Synod. It became the ''mother church'' for hundreds of other Lutheran churches that utlimately became part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
