 The third annual Lutheran Campus Ministry/Lutheran Youth Organization Lock-in is November 6-7. Please download the information sheet and registration forms. NO CHAPERONES from your church ARE NECESSARY...so send your kids and enjoy the fact that college students and high school youth--along with some older adults--are giving your youth leaders a programming break!

The public is invited to a Foods Resource Bank Harvest Day Saturday October 17, 2009. Come witness and participate in a Christan Response to World Hunger as 20 Farmers and 19 churches, representing 9 denominations from Somonauk/Earlville, IL gather together to help people in developing countries become self-sufficient in growing their own food. First, Rockford and First, Moline will each host a "Concert of Caring" performed by Elisabeth von Trapp, granddaughter of the legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, on Thurs., Oct. 22, and Fri., Oct. 23, respectively.
