All are encouraged to attend the Synod-wide Ordination Service Sunday, Nov. 1 at 4 pm at First, Rockford (225 S 3rd St). Rostered leaders and interns are invited to vest and process. Color of the day is red.
The Spirituality Formation Committee of the Northern Illinois Synod invites rostered leaders to a one-day Spiritual Retreat: The Spirituality of Jesus: The infrastructure of Grace Mon., 12/7 at LOMC, 9am-4pm. Download a registration form or contact Nancy Corey.
If you feel a call to serve as a Pastor, A.I.M. Deaconess, or Diaconal Minister, contact Judi Fields at the NIS office about the process.
Plan to attend one of the remaining NIS Mission Gatherings focusing on The Book of Faith. Registration begins at 6:30 pm with program beginning at 7:00 (except for 11/15)

 Great News from Lutheran Outdoors Ministries Center! Fifty-five organizations entered into a grant contest to technologically improve their offices, and thanks to spirit-created energy and dedicated supporters, Lutheran Outdoors Ministries Center made it to the top 5!
State of the art office equipment, networking technology, and RK Dixon consulting will make LOMC more efficient and environmentally friendly. God working through this grant prize allows LOMC to make a positive difference in the lifestyles and habits of many thousands of people while caring for the environment.
Voting begins November 9 to select the top three organizations, which will receive between $5,000 and $20,000 in technology upgrades. Please help LOMC receive the most votes.
