CHURCH ALIVE! Due to a generous grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the NIU Lutheran Campus Ministry community is poised to offer your congregation a gift. Students deeply involved in campus ministry at NIU have been trained and prepared to bring the Good News to your congregation through a pulpit sermon. If your congregation would like to give your pastor a preaching break while uplifting the gifts of young adults leaders in our church, please contact Pastor Diane Dardon, NIU Lutheran Campus Ministry pastor at dianedardon@gmail.com with THREE possible dates when a young adult from campus might share the Good News--there is no cost to your congreation but promises that all will be blessed!
The 2010 Professional Women Leaders Retreat will be January 25-26 at Bishop Lane Retreat Center. Registration Deadline Jan. 15. Download a brochure to find out more.

Gifts for ministry in our congregations and those of Mission Support for the wider ministry of the church enable us to, in bold and vibrant ways, touch lives with the love of Jesus Christ.
Perhaps your congregation might prayerfully consider a special "second mile" gift for Mission Support that our ministry might remain bold and vibrant as we proclaim our Lord's birth.
Thanks be to God for your ministry and have a very blessed Christmas!
