Making Christ Known Goes Green
As we begin a new decade, Making Christ Known, the the bi-monthly, formerly printed newsletter, has become an electronic newsletter.
As good stewards during the current economic situation, and as good stewards of God's earth, the necessity to move to a green publication became clear. This change will save the synod over $7000 annually and countless reams of paper.
The new format includes many clickable hyperlinks that can connect you to more in-depth information and resources on the internet.
Please encourage your congregation leaders and members to read the newsletter online. Post the web address on your website and in your publications.
Encourage everyone in your congregation to sign up for this email newsletter, Walking Together, so they can receive Making Christ Known via email.
Individuals may sign up for Walking Together at www.nisynod.org/pubs/wt or on the bottom right corner of every page of the NIS website.
Multiple email addresses (such as those of your council, educators, and committee members) may be sent to karin@nisynod.org and will be added in bulk.
As always, you are encouraged to reproduce articles from either publication for use in your congregational publications. |
