The Synod Assembly Faith Practices Bible Study videos are available on the assembly highlights page.
Other Assembly highlights and videos shown during the Assembly are available on the highlights page: Bishop Wollersheim's re-election announcement, Jan Veseth's ordination, "Everyday Evangelists" Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson's message to 2010 assemblies (including a segment on Bethesda, Morrison), Disaster Response - Your Gifts at Work in Haiti, and ELCA - Stories of Hope & Promise. (a note from your Communication Director: several people have requested the video shown during the youth assembly's report, "The Real World." I am waiting to get a copy of that video and then will need to edit it so that it can be posted on the internet. I will make note of it here in Walking Together when I get it online.)
Mary Bivens, RN/BSN, Program Director of Intouch Adult Day Service of LSSI thanks Assembly participants, "I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for the HUGE donation of supplies Intouch received [at Assembly]. There was a huge assortment of items and so many basic cleaning and craft items. We are grateful for all of the office supplies and kitchen items as well. What a blessing to us. The Lutheran churches in Illinois showed a real spirit of generosity and sharing. God's blessings to you, Mary and the crew at Intouch."

Read the Bishop's pastoral letter that includes "resources for worship, study and action that express the hope of Christians who see God's creative goodness, Jesus' forgiving reconciliation and the Spirit's abundant gifts for service. This is a moment when the human community needs to hear a word of true... hope, and we have one to speak."
