The ELCA desk for Small Town and Rural Ministries (STAR alliance) is a ministry committed to sharing the promise of hope for rural people, churches and communities through presence, resources, education, advocacy, and networking. http://www.elca.org/rural The following is an ELCA resource I have used and have found helpful. It contains both liturgies for a variety of occasions as well as sermon tips for Rural ministry. Wartburg Seminary’s Center for Land and Theology offers many links, workshops and classes related to rural ministry. http://www.ruralministry.com/ The Churches Center for Land and People works ecumenically for the well-being of the rural communities of Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois http://www.cclpmidwest.org/ The Food Resource Bank is a Christian response to world hunger.
