The Northern Illinois Synod World Hunger Subcommittee invites you to celebrate the success of our ELCA World Hunger Giving Campaign. Your generosity made it possible to not only meet our initial goal but exceed it as well. The celebration is worship and a meal on Sunday, November 2nd beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle (14206 East Flagg Road, Rochelle, IL 61068).
Bishop Stacie Fidlar will preach at a celebratory worship at 4:00 p.m. and a sandwich and cake reception follows worship. An offering will be taken for ELCA World Hunger. This is an opportunity not only to worship God, but to celebrate what our synod has accomplished and to recognize congregations and individuals for their generosity toward our goal.
