TITLE: Director of Music Ministry
Purpose of Position: Plans and coordinates the music program to facilitate the full and active participation of the congregation in the liturgical life of the church. Reports to: Pastor
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s of Music/Arts or equivalent experience. Piano proficiency, including the ability to read from lead sheets. Arranging ability and proficiency on contemporary worship instruments preferred. Familiarity with Lutheran order of worship and liturgy are a plus, but not required.
Term: Average 15 hours per week. Salaried: $16,000-$18,000 annually. 3 Paid Sundays off for vacation. No Benefits. Position will be evaluated after 90 days.
